W9YB Purdue Amateur Radio Club will be holding a club call-out this coming Friday, February 2, 2018
The call-out will be at the W9YB club house (a.k.a. “The Shack”) PMU 370 (west tower) and will start at 5:00 PM.
Come and meet the student leadership of the club. Have an interest in Amateur Radio or Electronics? Then this is the place to be.
- Learn how to become a ham radio operator.
- Satellite communications.
- Talk around the world on HF radio with just a radio and a piece of wire!
- Repeaters and linking the world via a small walkie-talkie.
